I'm running late…

Sorry, I'm running late on this year's batch of products for the holidays!

I lost a few months this summer due to shop upgrades, family obligations, and a totaled truck that I'm currently rebuilding. I’m not sure if having employees would make things easier, but that’s another challenge that hasn’t been in the cards for me. All these products are still designed and made by me from start to finish, including shipping.

Matching bowl sets with edge grain cutting board designs are in the works. I will have about 20 cutting board bowls ready by Christmas, along with 15 matching cutting boards that will be released at the same time.

I’ll also have around 30 sets of coasters available.

The chaotic knife handle material is complete and now available on the Maker page of the website.

I’m working on about 15 Alaskan Hunter knives from three different makers, and they should be ready in time for Christmas as well.

Also, I have another 30 cutting boards that just need to be finished and should also be ready.

Quick update: A new dust collector and ductwork are finally in the shop. I’ve been pushing my dust collectors around for way too long, so it’s great to finally have the ductwork in place for all the tools. Thanks to Clear Vue Cyclones and Carbon Method for their help. I did have to purchase the full ductwork, which really hurt my wallet.

My wife and I found an amazing opportunity to buy a lot of land on a river, which already has a lot of development work done for RV camping. We spent a lot of time this summer finishing it off so we could start a little side business. We will be renting it out for private and secluded RV camping. Camp DeVo!

As some of you know, my gold mining truck was totaled two years ago; I shared the whole accident in one of my YouTube videos. With the help of Carli Suspension and 1023 Diesel, we have stripped the old truck of all its parts and are building its replacement.

The three-way Alaskan Hunter knife collaboration is well underway and should be available soon. Josh at Wilder Knives of Alaska is making two of our original versions in two sizes, featuring two styles of my chaotic handles. He is my original maker for the Alaskan Hunter.

Peter at Septem Knives has crafted many kitchen knives for me, and his work, artistry, and attention to detail are extremely impressive. He’s putting his own spin on my Alaskan Hunter design in two sizes.

Rob at Niche Custom Blade Works is a serious hunter and builds knives specifically for harvesting and processing animals. He is making five knives in two sizes, each with his unique touch on my Alaskan Hunter design.

I have a pre-order available for 10 of the Alaskan Hunter knives on the finished products page as well as a few bowls. Some of which are Alaskan spalted birch that I hand picked the logs last year from a friends house.

Current YouTube video list:

  • Turning cutting boards into bowls

  • Three-way knife making collaboration

  • Rebuilding my totaled gold mining adventure work truck

  • Cutting board table build

  • Vintage HiFi stereo restoration

Thank you for your support and patience, I’m excited to share these new products with you soon.
