Vertical Grain "Mistake" Carbon Chaotic Knife Scales -Stabilized - 5.75"x2"x .4"

$75.00

I made a mistake when cutting the final scales to size on a small batch of these. The grain orientation is vertical instead of horizontal. You will still get the chaotic detail on the top and bottom of the knife and edge grain on the sides. The more profile the handle the more the chaotic will show up.

Also can be used as spacers between segments.

This is my carbon fiber inspired chaotic design.

I don't plan on making these vertical style ever again :)

Stabilized Carbon Chaotic “Wood Camo” Knife Scales made from:

Walnut and Wenge

Actual size is 5.75"x2"x .4"

Qty: 1 set (.4” thick per side) of Knife Scales $75

Stabilizing is a long process of impregnating the wood with resin.

These Knife Scales are individuality bookmatched and sanded flat with 120 grit though the Supermax drum sander.

Photos of the buffed Knife Scales are for reference photos only.

This batch of Chaotic blocks went through 10 rounds of planing, ripping and gluing to get this kind of detail. Zero snipe is in the final product.
